Illustration for «Haremos historia», illustrated tribute to Caifanes, by Gabriel Martínez Meave - An illustrated interpretation of Mexican rock band Caifanes’ song «La célula que explota» from their 1992 album «El Silencio», perhaps one of my favourite Mexican rock songs of all time. The technique, as usual, is traditional/digital. A detailed line drawing, made with pencil over vellum, plus digital colour. Work done for a collective tribute exhibition, curated by Monterrey studio Xplaye for their project Ilustrando Para.
