- Musa de la Música
Poster illustration for MUSA Art Gallery in Puebla, Mexico, by Gabriel Martínez Meave - Inspired on the subject «Muse», this is a poster illustration for an exhibition at MUSA, a Design, Art and Music gallery/shop in Puebla, Mexico. Since I’m a big fan of Classical and Baroque music, I used the allegory of the Phoenix, together with a young, modern-looking «muse» of composition –with guitar and all– to portrait the fantastic, voluptuous idea of Musical Inspiration, always returning from its ashes. Here I show the original graphite drawing (and some details), as well as the final, digital-coloured artwork, done in a few hours at breakneck speed, as usual. Concept, line art and typography by Gabriel Martínez Meave (www.meave.org)
